I think Icelanders have perfected the art of being total heathens and still getting all the perks of organised religion.

Example: we have a thing called Civil Confirmation so even if you don’t believe in god you can still have a party at 13 and get gifts and money from all your aunts and uncles.

Fun Tariff Facts: during the depression the US lost access to many imported paper products. They were replaced with an unusually tough paper stock made of hemp from the Philippines (then a US colony, and tariff exempt).

Anyway, that’s why they were, and still are, called Manila folders /
envelopes.
