Sunrise and Hazelnut hold hands; Hazelnut has long dark purplish hair and Sunrise has pink pigtails... they're wearing madoka and homura's dresses symbolizing the nature of their relationship. Hazelnut kisses Sunrise on her forehead, "chu~" The final panel is a clear view of Hazelnut as Sunrise sees her, Hazelnut holding her hand... It's a warm and cherished memory for Sunrise... Sunrise narrates "We made a promise to each other...that we'd be together forever... I knew I could do anything... So long as I had her... It was like a dream..." Now an older Hazelnut stands in front of Sunrise, her hair chopped short, wearing a white shirt and a tie... "It's over, Sunrise," she says. Hazelnut steps away from Sunrise, finally saying "You should pack your things and go home." She looks away from Sunrise as she says it. Sunrise is shocked, the information not sinking in... "B-but... what about our promise?"... She steps forward, toward Hazelnut, "We were... We were gonna be together forever... We were gonna take care of each other!" In the foreground Hazelnut's expression is darked and unseen... once again, she looks away.

We are in fact DESPERATE for winter coats, waterproof gloves, and good boots. We get so many wonderful donations but it is so cold and the numbers of unhoused unsheltered people are going up at the absolute worst time for it, and we run out of coats weekly.

Important: While the Utah bill is framed around porn taxes, the actual letter of the bill discusses “material harmful to minors.” So this could start as a porn tax, and if Utah defines LGBT content as “harmful to minors,” balloon into something so much bigger. As is the case with this genre of bills
53 (1) In addition to all other taxes, a tax is levied at the rate of 7% upon the gross receipts of 54 all sales, distributions, memberships, subscriptions, performances, and content 55 amounting to material harmful to minors that is: 56 (a) produced in this state; 57 (b) sold in this state; 58 (c) filmed in this state; 59 (d) generated in this state; or 60 (e) otherwise based in this state. 103 78B-3-1004. Notification requirement -- Fee -- Division of Consumer Protection 104 administration - Monitoring and auditing. 105 (1) A commercial entity that publishes or distributes material harmful to minors on the 106 internet from a website that contains a substantial portion of such material shall provide 107 notification to the Division of Consumer Protection. 108 (2)(a) The Division of Consumer Protection shall charge an annual notification fee of 109 $500 for each commercial entity that provides notification under this section. 110 (b) The division shall use the fee collected under Subsection (2)(a) to monitor and audit 111 compliance with the age verification requirements established in Section 78B-3-1002. 112 (c) The division shall deposit the fee collected under Subsection (2)(a) into the 113 Commerce Service Fund created in Section 13-1-2.

What was originally passed with the goal of helping the emerging Internet industry as our nation approached a new century has since been interpreted to shield big tech companies from accountability for an ever-expanding variety of online harms. As we approach the 30-year anniversary of Section 230, we must pause and reflect on where this law has led us as a nation and how it has affected the American people. Because of Section 230, America's children are being sexually groomed and extorted online; predators are creating and distributing Al-generated deepfake pornography; drug traffickers are selling fentanyl-laced pills to teenagers; young people's anxieties, stresses, and body image issues are exploited; and terrorist organizations and foreign governments are targeting vulnerable individuals for recrutment and exploitation. And to make matters worse, Section 230 prevents these victims and their families from ever having their day in court. Practically speaking, there is no regulatory agency overseeing social media that could provide meaningful relief to abused consumers. ICE agents are, simply put, fucking clowns. According to The Atlantic, they receive 47 days of training — in honor of Trump, the 47th president, naturally. Many of them, also, can barely read or write, apparently. The ones I spent the weekend following around didn’t even have proper uniforms, with some wearing sneakers. In Minnesota. In January. These dipshits are also wearing camo in the snow. They clearly do not have any training when it comes to their own weapons either. Multiple times over the last few days, I watched officers fire pepper spray balls at the feet of protestors barely a few inches away from them. These weapons are basically paintball guns full of concentrated pepper spray. So when they hit a target, they explode into the air. Which meant ICE agents regularly ended up poisoning themselves with their own weapons. I also watched two agents ask each other if a canister they were about to fire at the crowd was tear gas or a stun grenade. (It ended up being a stun grenade that then ignited the tear gas they had already shot at us, which started a fire in the street that a protestor had to help them put out.)
