The irony of Turning Point USA is that when it was founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk and Bill Montgomery, their two main policies to push were against gun control and zero COVID restrictions.

Montgomery died of COVID / Kirk died by gun violence.

I am broken hearted to learn this. Other than "Fool if You Think It's Over" in 1978 he made little impression on American audiences but he is grossly underappreciated. His musical catalog is massive and varied. Rest easy Chris Rea. 😢

When we say "no, everything hasn't been digitized," I need you to understand that we really mean is that virtually nothing has been digitized. This is because the realm of primary sources that historians use is incomprehensibly large.

No empathy for Republican enablers. What did they think would happen? Trump doesn't have an ideological bone in his body. He demands unquestioning fealty to his brand... whatever that is at any given moment in his addled mind. Heritage thought they could use him as a tool. They have chosen poorly.

Signalgate, blowing boats out of the water, seizing oil tankers, ICE kidnapping US citizens because they're racially profiling... I could go on and on. . . .

Republicans, ask yourself this: would I be ok with any of these things if Obama or Biden did it? If not, find some f'ing integrity & courage.

Last year my father broke a hip. His town has one hospital. How is he supposed to shop that??

Stupid. 🙄

Fundamentally, Republicans do not believe government has a role in solving problems around healthcare. They are increasingly out of touch with most Americans.
