A lot of these guys—the ones from the South, at least—would still be Democrats if it weren't for the Civil Rights Acts of the 1960s, when they left to join the Republican Party.

Thank you, LBJ! We may have lost the South, but our party as a whole has only benefited.

Leslie Wexner is one of the 10 co-conspirators named by the FBI during the 2019 arrest of Epstein.

He gave Epstein millions of dollars and the $70 million NYC townhouse.

Leon Black gave Epstein over $170 million.

Both men are alive.

How come they've never been asked to testify?

The Marshall Project found more than 70,000 cases referred to law enforcement over allegations of substance use during pregnancy—and that’s a significant undercount.

He fled torture in Uganda. ICE is trying to send him back.

🚨BREAKING: Puerto Rico has been part of the United States since 1898, and people still act confused that Puerto Ricans are American.

States that joined after Puerto Rico:
• Oklahoma — 1907
• New Mexico — 1912
• Arizona — 1912
• Alaska — 1959
• Hawaii — 1959

Yet somehow this is still news to folks.

BREAKING: Internal GOP polling reportedly shows Republican electoral turnout and voter enthusiasm will “catastrophically collapse” if Trump grants Ghislaine Maxwell clemency, and no amount of billionaire campaign funding will be enough to stop a Democratic sweep of the midterms....

It's over, Donald. Time to give it up and let it go.

Your presidency; your legacy; your life, are ALL FUCKED.

Ok, one more thing on this bad take: no one is saying knitting a hat is "as effective" as ICE patrol (lots of us do both, btw) It has a different impact. We need diverse tactics w/ varying levels of impact that serve various purposes.

Ranking/purity testing engagement is weird. We need all levels.
Well, I'm glad it made some money - that's something - but I stand by the pussy hats being stupid and cringe and not helpful.

Also, I think it's dishonest to say crafting is effective. It's a good way to get people thinking their hobbies are as effective as something like protests or ICE patrol.
