Reminder to not hate watch. Don't hate watching if you don't want season 2.
HBO CEO Casey Bloys says 'HARRY POTTER' Season 2 is already being written

I feel like the last couple decades of "is representation good or not?" discourse missed more important questions of "how fragile is representation?", "what do we do when multiple industries eliminate it as an intentional move against us?" and "how can we sustain queer artists when shit goes south?"
"According to the report, [...]during the 2024-25 television season, queer characters increased across platforms by 4%, bringing the total to 489. However, the Thursday report found that 41% of those characters will not return." www.thewrap.com/glaad-where-...
Nearly Half of All LGBTQ+ Characters Will Disappear From TV Next Season, GLAAD Study Finds
The 2024-25 TV season recorded 489 queer characters across broadcast, cable and screenings, but cancellations and plot find a deep decline to come

I dunno if weve ever had to wonder: Can one work have TOO MANY villain songs?

It's like the collective energy of people missing classic disney villain songs all went into Hazbin and gave him 6 over 8 episodes.

I mean they are ALL fire, but we needed more Angel this season

yall struggle with organizing because you're bad friends. you're mean, you're selfish, you're self-indulgent, and you're more invested in being comfortable than being community.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

What gets me about the Pretty Little Liars book vs. show is that ARIA DOESN’T END UP WITH EZRA! At the end of book 4, he’s like this is over and leaves after he gets arrested. She ends up with Noel, age appropriate. Hate it here the show’s very cursed with that relationship.

Honestly besides how intriguingly bad this is, my biggest takeaway is that I didn’t know Allura was a real name. I thought it was something Voltron pulled out of nowhere.

Teen Vogue worked FINE with the way it was being written for years …. And then axed most of the Black women, after clearing the Black woman who actually built it

And folks were cool as long as they got what they needed

And then they killed the entire thing

We need to do better

This *really* sucks. Teen Vogue has consistently had some of the best political coverage of the last several years. They are one of the few outlets that met the moment. (Hire these writers!!)
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

On Teen Vogue: It's an amazing publication full of talented journalists. It offers so much value. It's clear the monied interests in media aren't interested in preserving that value, especially if it threatens the status quo that undergirds their wealth. Capitalism and journalism are enemies.
