People have inherent worth and dignity.

Computer programs — even ones that are very good at imitating people — do not.

Hope this helps.

I was honored to preach at @candlertheology.bsky.social's chapel last week.

My sermon was "Render Unto Caesar: Preaching the Gospel in an Era of Christian Power."

There may have been some subtext.

Just listened to @sheilagregoire.bsky.social on @sonsofpatriarchy.bsky.social and it was phenomenal!

All well said and I look forward to hearing more in the future. Some of those stats were really eye opening.

Guess it’s time to buy some more books. I’m going to need a proper library soon.

Does it bother anyone else that the “all lives matter” people are also the “kill them all and let God sort them out” people?

I’m exhausted from convincing the people near me that genocide is a bad thing, regardless of who is carrying it out.

(I’ll let you decide which genocide I’m taking about.)

Made s’mores with the kids using the toaster oven. Because it’s too dang hot outside to make them outside over a fire.

Best part? The kids loved it.

10/10 recommend. Make sure to not put the graham cracker in the toaster oven, they get soft.
Literally begging you to post about Just Some Stuff. We will see the news I absolutely promise. Twenty people will repost the same exact thing about the news. Only you can post about a turtle you saw
i don't mean to come off as rude but we cannot sustain ourselves on outrage and anger forever. i think it's even more important now to post about other things too. even if it gets less engagement. you never know who will find it cool and interesting.

One of the oldest forms of religious hypocrisy is people using God to justify the kind of actions against others that they themselves would cry out to God in agony if those same actions were carried out against them.

Worth remembering that Trump moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem. To his evangelical base, he's fulfilling end times prophecies before their eyes.

What is happening right now is nothing less then God's work, and they believe that they are the recipients of the long-awaited promise of Jesus' return.

Y’all know how dope it would be if Democrats were actually the “radical leftists” MAGA kept trying to paint them as instead of the Diet Republicans they really are?

Imagine an opposition party that wasn’t centrist, so that centrists & moderates weren’t actually conservatives.

I decided to start a #thread 🧵 of stories about legal residents and tourists being (illegally) arrested, detained and/or deported by the Trump regime. I'll only post stories from serious sources, as rumors and conspiracies are really not needed in this authoritarian moment.

This is what I wish appeared under every worship songwriter's bio:

"Ludvig M. Lindeman (1812-1887) was a Norwegian composer and organist. Born in Trondheim, he studied theology in Oslo."

The "studied theology" part. That's what I want to help make possible for all CWM artists.

Also: this hymn!
