Hey #hatm crew, just finished the 4-episode series, House of Lightning, about James Garfield and his assassin. Surprisingly engaging, with good acting and modern-type dialog (prepare for lots of F-bombs). Only weak point (IMO) was Whitford as Blaine. He was fine - I just can't not see him as Josh.

Years ago, I visited the Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, WV. In the 50s, Congress built its fallout shelter underneath the hotel. It was a secret until 1994. It's worth checking out. #hatm

Growing up, I also had "The Day After" (1983) - very much a cultural event, akin to Roots, a decade earlier. That said, "Special Bulletin" that same year had a bigger impact on me, since it took place in my birth city - Charleston, SC.

Just got an email from a Christian organization with the words, "Strategizing," "Stewarding," and "Missional" all in the subject line. That is a hard no-open.

In about 4 hours. I take it most folks have not watched this film. I don't want to over promise, but I enjoyed this one, mostly because it's about a battle / war I knew nothing about. This is not just for historians - see below and join in! #hatm
