Thinking of a move to New York, Massachusetts, or Vermont due to these painting the only places with you around medigap options for people under 65.

I need to find out if premiums are astromical, if it's worth it. But I can't afford surgery & I don't want to die trapped in this bed year after year.

Wisconsin people:

If you forgot to vote in the spring primary yesterday, there's still time to vote in the WAMIs
Hey #Music fans and #Wisconsin folks!

Guess who got nominated for Best Violin in the Wisconsin Area Music Industry awards????

oh. Yeah. No, it's me. I just didn't think it was that obvious. Good point, I was the one who asked.

This always comes as a shock to people, when we polled or focus grouped even the most conservative voters Progressive always tested so much better than Democrat. Even if we laid out policy positions. People want someone who is going to fight for them.
And this was interestingly unanimous— and not being that well reflected yet in the offerings from actual Dem politicians. Word to the wise

I never dreamed I’d be asked if I was the “first podcaster” or produce thousands of digital audiobooks all over the world.

I just like a good story at bedtime!

I made a new video class: “How To Make an Audiobook and Do It Well.” It’s for authors, actors, & people who love the spoken word.

I'm sometimes asked why I focus on gender-affirming care for trans youth. It's because the regime chose to start there, and if they succeed, it won't end there.

New post on why this is the front line and what you can do before tomorrow's 5PM ET deadline.

So I carved off a lean chunk of the steak before cooking it,

And made sure to set it on the edge of my plate, after I was done.

And then to look the other way. To let her steal it.

I got her her favorite thing, for her birthday -

Crime.

College athletes’ NIL deals would be exempt from public records law under a bill supported by UW-Madison and recently introduced in Wisconsin.

Universities have scrambled to keep such records private, citing "competitive interests."

An Assembly bill would establish regulations in Wisconsin regarding name, image and likeness deals. It would hide such deals from the public eye.

Good thread 🧵 about assistive technology now & in the future, via Star Trek (the current series, ST Academy).
I have a friend who said, of Starfleet Academy, that this took them out of it - that seeing a person in a wheelchair in the 32nd century seemed unrealistic, since medicine in Star Trek "should be able to cure whatever was wrong with them."

That's not the case, for any number of possible reasons.
