I very much was thinking of "military industrial complex" when looking at Barsha Corp. As I said on a recent interview, Barsha Corp is so high above the law that there is no morality, only transactions (the underworld is the inverse, the same thing but below the law)
In looking at @mikechenwriter.bsky.social's #StarWars #LowRedMoon, I felt strong links between the Barshas’ situation, and that of the German industrialists after the Nazis rose to power. Like the GIs, the Barshas supported the changing government of the time, but neither fully understood- 1/4

Probate has been a lot, but getting to go through our life together, one photos, one letter, one record at a time… it’s honestly healing. I miss her, but I am so thankful to have had the love and care I did from Mimi. 💗

College journalism programs failed us by not warning us of the fights we’d have to have in newsrooms. How we’d always have to be the ones asking about bias toward power, how we’d be asking for better community-centered coverage and how we’d ask for respect internally (and get none).
