I love that their spam moderation is 1% manual despite the fact that it’s been pointed out repeatedly that their automatic process is racist.
By their own numbers, almost 50% of what Bluesky moderation gets up to is just manually labeling replies as rude. 👍

Oh, and
4. Despite the demand for proportional representation from Labour members, Starmer won't change
our ridiculous First Past the Post system. So he's in no position to blame anyone for "splitting the vote".

Starmer literally told members that were unhappy with Labour's pivot to the hard right that 'the door is open and you can leave'
To those saying, "but the Greens will split the vote":
1. Things have changed.
2. It's not the Green's fault that Starmer has the Merdas Touch (turns everything to shit)
3. When the Greens offer the only inspiring option, perhaps we should see the Labour candidate as splitting the vote.

Exactly. When Labour’s policies are barely distinguishable from Reform’s, they’ve lost the right to lecture us about vote-splitting. If they want progressive votes, they need progressive policies. It’s not vote-splitting when people vote for what they believe in - it’s democracy.

Despite being a prominent member of Your Party, Yaqoob is calling on people to vote Green. "The Greens are best placed to win", she said, adding: "The Left should work together to support them"

To beat Reform,
I suspect that very few Green supporters
would ever again vote Labour
while a whole lot of Labour supporters
could be persuaded to vote Green
(particularly with a Green + Your Party electoral pact)

"Our standing rule is: If one of us brings up using GenAI in any of our work, then it's safe to assume we've been assimilated by The Thing and should be burned alive by Kurt Russell," said a game design consultant in the US.
Over 50% of game developers now think generative AI is bad for the industry, a dramatic increase from just 2 years ago: 'I'd rather quit the industry than use generative AI'
The latest GDC survey also found that managers are more likely to use generative AI than their employees.

This is exactly what is happening in London and prob other gentrified cities around the world. its mad that we think we can't live without the superich in their penthouses but don't care when teachers, nurses, cleaners etc etc need to leave
For all the fearmongering about capital flight from New York City, there’s an exodus few want to talk about: working people.

Sky-high rents and outrageous child care costs are already pushing families out of the city they keep running.

That’s what we have to change.
