White racist literally threw a bomb at black people to kill them, apparently not a sufficient cause to have a moral panic, special envoy, national introspection, royal commission, terrorism declaration, new laws, 1,000 op-eds in The Australian. We're struggling to identify why that might be.

If only all of our politicians were of this calibre
“Australia doesn't have a gas supply problem, we have a gas export problem, and more and more Australians are waking up to the scam that has been happening for the last two decades.”

Maybe @albomp.bsky.social would like to explain to Eddy & all of us why there’s > $300 billion for AUKUS but volunteer firefighters put their lives at risk with insufficient resources!

A question for fearless journos out there to put to Australia's political leaders. Why do we have > $300 billion to attempt to buy submarines but not enough $ to pay more fire fighters & support staff & to buy more urgently needed firefighting equipment, so we have sufficient resources when needed?!

We've got that wind here too in NE Melbourne, the sky is dark grey and the smell of smoke has now made it to us also. Bugger all though, compared to what people are experiencing up in the effected areas

Just a reminder the media org that has been trumpeting that it cares about kids and their futures and wants social media banned is the same that worldwide has been running climate change disinformation and lies, ensuring the kids will live in a worse world
The November monthly temperatures have been released and 2025 looks set to be the 2nd hottest year on record.

Remember when warming apparently stopped in 1997?

That is more than 0.5C ago.

Fun fact: Santos has paid $0 in corporate tax in the last 10y while selling $48bn of Australian gas.

Santos buys gas domestically and sells it overseas, increasing the price of Australian gas in our own market.

Our govt must reserve gas for our domestic industries and homes.
