All the journos leaping to Fox News’s defense when Obama suggested they might be a tad biased against him are darkly hilarious now.
this is Obama getting mad and arresting Jesse Watters territory. Completely unacceptable holy shit

new: Minnesota Timberwolves chaplain and activist Matt Moberg FaceTimed me from an ICE blanketed parking lot about his empathy for Anthony Edwards, Wemby's provocative statement about the Spurs, and the value (if any) of athletes speaking out.

we ended early because ICE tried to arrest his mom.
Q&A: The Minnesota Timberwolves chaplain who wants NBA stars to melt ICE without slipping
Matt Moberg's righteous fury with Donald Trump's immigration crackdown went viral. But he preaches empathy for the NBA stars figuring out how to stand for others without losing themselves.

it's awesome how either the sixth party system dies or the democratic republic dies, and it's an open question which is it that goes
the president of the united states should not be allowed to personally loot the treasury to the sum of ten billion dollars and that this is not resulting in immediate, unanimous impeachment is a dramatic indictment of what has become of our political system
President Trump has filed a lawsuit against the IRS, in which he demands that the IRS, which he as president controls, pay him $10 billion.

stealing hundreds of billions of dollars in an attempt to give his family perpetual rule, and there is basically no plan to do anything about this. good reminder that the real richest person on earth is (likely) putin.

This is not Tsarist Russia. Stop being fucking stupid. Your favorite revolutionaries would have killed for a ride-along with The Atlantic

And I don't care how stupid that sounds, because it's just fucking true, shut the fuck up all of you, preemptively
The Minneapolis resistance is getting object lessons in what wrecking is in real-time, but unfortunately the lesson doesn't seem to be taking
Okay so unfortunately I’ve been removed from rapid response networks, at least in my immediate area. I think even alerting you of this would be deemed a violation of principles but given how much I’ve talked about it I do feel the need to say what’s up.

Massive public above ground stuff the point is to fucking make people aware of it.

the irony about the show is its title makes you think it's a "good" man turning "bad", but it's a repressed man unleashing himself, before he loses everything and then turns to good. the greatest trick of the arc isn't the audience rooting for a bad guy, it's somehow finding "good" in him.
Question to all who watched Breaking Bad:

Do you think Walter White genuinely changes over the course of the series, or does he merely shed social constraints and reveal who he was all along?

(question born out of a screenwriters' group discussion, and I realized I can't decide for myself)
