There has been no deescalation. Not in rhetoric from DC or on the ground. This is a disgusting way to talk about a federal union worker who cared for veterans.

One thing I found deeply moving about resistance in the Twin Cities was the universalism of loving your neighbor, the philosophy driving the opposition to the ICE/BP invasion. Gotta say growing up in a conservative Christian bubble I was taught the same things. Adulthood has shown me sadly that very few meant any of it. There are some who believe it, but in my experience they are vastly outnumbered.
