We found that a company with deep ties to Kristi Noem secretly got money from DHS contracts.

“It’s corrupt, is the word,” a contract law expert said. “Hiding your friends as subcontractors is like playing hide the salami with the taxpayer.”

Politicians blaming the poor are lazy. It's their job to help fix things, to help the poor. Rewarding the wealthy doesn't help the rest of Americans. It's been shown, distributing more money actually builds the economy because people buy more.
Acton: I’m running against a guy, Vivek Ramaswamy, who has said that people are struggling in Ohio because they’re lazy, they’re mediocre, they’re not working hard enough. And I can absolutely tell you that is not the Ohioans I know or see. I think he’s completely out of touch.

Because it worked for Colin Powell? Can't they be a little more original?
I love how DOJ pushes back in this article by citing to what the still undisclosed memo supposedly says.

Simply releasing the document itself could really clarify what the administration’s legal rationale is.
Glad to speak with @alexward.bsky.social about the license to kill that the Department of Justice furnished the Trump administration.

He creates a problem (tarriffs on food raises prices) and then pats himself on the back for fixing his own mess.
President Donald Trump eased some of his “Liberation Day” tariffs Friday evening, all but conceding that his trade policy has increased Americans’ grocery expenses despite his administration’s claims to the contrary.

What does freedom mean to you?

Have you asked your low info voter friends that?

Have you told them what it means to you? Does it mean masked men brutalizing random people—guns in your face—tear gas on your street?

Have you ever shared a video about #ICELawlessness?

Silence is complicity.

Sadly, this is still an issue, we still have to fight for our right to control our own bodies, and our right to work.

Power from hate based on race and gender is pathetic.
The play “Liberation” showcases “an essential part of the ongoing fight for women’s progress,” Jessica Grose writes. “Its sincerity, which had initially rubbed me the wrong way, is a necessary antidote to nihilism.”

Also note her mockery of network disclaimers on Trump. More like this, Ds:
