The #DCTidbits are back!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to our House Chaplain, Reverend Kibben, to talk about her role in the chamber and the history of the chaplaincy.

Take a listen!

I am a NO on any bill that strips health care from millions of Texans.

Nearly 100,000 in #TX32 rely on ACA tax credits to stay covered — and Republicans want to take that away while sneaking in a payoff for their friends.

Cruelty and corruption vs. courage and compassion.
November 13, 2025 at 12:23 AM
You cannot trust Republicans to solve the health care crisis they created.

@housedemocrats.bsky.social are demanding a guarantee that the Affordable Care Act's tax credits get passed, and we will accept nothing less.

I will not vote for a bill that increases costs for American families.

I am a HELL NO on legislation that strips health care from millions of Texans.

Nearly 100,000 in #TX32 rely on ACA tax credits — without them, many go without coverage.

Families are pleading: save our health care.

🚨 A quick update from here in Washington about the government funding bill that we are about to vote on and how Republicans are using it to line their own pockets.

Today I hosted a healthcare roundtable at Texas Health in Dallas — bringing together hospital leaders, physicians, and community providers from across North Texas to talk about what’s really happening in our healthcare system.
November 10, 2025 at 7:29 PM
I am a hell no on a bill that takes away health care from millions of Texans. All I have heard from my constituents is to please protect their health care.

Is it disgusting that Republicans are determined to inflict maximum pain on the American people to suck up to a deranged President.

Yesterday, our team volunteered at Minnie’s Pantry in Plano — I was appalled to find out they ran out of essentials for the first time in 8yrs. That’s what families are facing right now. Empty shelves. Hunger doesn’t wait for Washington to get its act together. Our #TX32 community won’t wait either.

@pelosi.house.gov is a trailblazer in every sense of the word. Her leadership, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the American people have shaped our nation for generations to come.

She has opened doors and lifted countless women, proving that leadership knows no bounds.

Republicans shut down government instead of extending ACA tax credits that keep health care affordable. Nearly 100K in our community rely on them. If they expire, premiums will double.

I’m fighting to make them permanent. Share your health care story below. juliejohnson.house.gov/government-s...
Government Shutdown and Health Care Impact

It was great to meet with @realtexaspaul.com to talk about the challenges Texans are facing — and the importance of standing together for honesty, accountability, and progress.

Conversations like these remind me how strong our Texas values really are.

The government remains shut down because Speaker Johnson refuses to bring Republicans back to work to lower health care costs and reopen the government.

Republicans must bring up a bill that Democrats can vote for.

Otherwise, I won't vote for their crappy bill.

Trump’s disastrous trade war has hurt farmers, destroyed jobs, & driven up prices.

Now, his “deal” gets us soybeans & one year of minerals while China gets our advanced AI chips.

I received letters from 7th graders in Dallas expressing their concern for children affected by the Ukraine war.

It’s inspiring to see young people engaging in issues that shape the world. I'm committed to working for peace and supporting efforts to protect children and families in Ukraine.

The Trump Administration can fund food benefits for hungry families — they’re just choosing not to.

Democrats are fighting to reopen the government, lower health care costs, and fund SNAP.

Republicans aren’t.

Every day, #TX32 constituents call my office saying, “For the love of God, protect my health care."

That’s exactly what I’m doing.

Republicans need to step up, protect health care, and reopen the government — full stop.

The Trump Administration can fund SNAP — but is choosing not to.

After cutting $186B from the program, Trump is once again taking food off the tables of 42 million Americans.

I’m demanding that Trump reverse course — and feed Americans who are hungry. @houseagdems.bsky.social

When Trump ran for office, he cut a deal with Big Tech billionaires: get me elected, and I’ll give you a massive tax break.

He delivered — and now Republicans want to hand out even more breaks to the ultra-wealthy while gutting your health care.

Hell no.
October 27, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Republicans think we can wait until the end of the year to fix expiring ACA subsidies

But families are making health care decisions right now.

Democrats are holding the line to protect your access to affordable care.
