The focus of the project is on the personal materials of participants, such as letters and photographs, which permit us to experience the war through their eyes and their words. These are very often the stories of ordinary Canadians, largely forgotten and overlooked. Our mission is to digitally preserve and continue to make freely accessible this important part of Canada’s heritage for this generation and future generations. The vision of the project is to continue to expand this repository of Canadian archival materials by collaborating with Canadians to preserve and share the individual and collective stories that have shaped our past Accessibility to the past is key to understanding who we are as a nation. Wyden has been on the Senate intel committee for many years. The letter signifies that he's been briefed on a major CIA covert action -- as is legally required -- and the briefing was alarming. He wouldn't do this unless he believed a great deal is at stake.

Here's a photo of the Hughes Aircraft management team at the Aerospace Data Facility at Buckley Air National Guard Base (now Space Force Base) in Colorado. The ADF operated the JUMPSEAT satellites and still operates their successors. Photo probably taken in 1976 or shortly afterwards.
A group of men in business attire is posing in front of a single-storey, flat-roofed brick building. A sign on the building says Aerospace Data Facility. Two large radomes can be seen looming behind the building. The photo was said to have been taken in 1970, just as the ADF was about to become operational, but the radome on the left, the third one associated with this building, was not constructed until 1976. Also, the men's clothes are consistent with the fashions of the mid- to late 1970s.

Russia's decommissioned Olimp signals intelligence satellite, abandoned in the GEO graveyard orbit region in Oct 2025, has apparently disintegrated - possibly due to a debris hit since internal energy sources should have been vented when it was retired

What can Canada do to stop the #ICE attacks in the United States? Beyond offering solidarity, we can:

☑️ Demand that Canada prevent the sale of armoured vehicles to ICE
☑️ Demand the companies like @Hootsuite end any contracts with ICE

We can do this, and we must.

JSI, a wiretaps and investigation support firm, had a banner year in U.S. government sales in 2025, including a big new contract with ICE.
