Denmark is proposing a law that allows you "full copyright" of your image, voice, etc. This is a policy that should have been enacted 10 years ago.
I really think we are just not at all prepared for the tsunami of social harm that "AI" is about to dump on us.
Lovely. “I am an actress. He has used AI to falsely impersonate me [by] sending voice messages to people using my voice and likeness in an effort to destroy my reputation and disturb the peace,” Law stated in her filing.

In 2026 there will be more mass media articles and commentators ridiculing people taking precautions to avoid SARS-CoV-2 infection while simultaneously hundreds of pieces of research will be published further demonstrating the long-term harms of infection.

Ignore the ridicule.

It’s an interesting question, but presumably more EU countries are open to idea of Canada joining now - given US betrayal, etc - than previously. In any event, lots of options/models for closer ties other than full EU membership, as article below outlines.
Good reminder! Not to mention NFLD being super close to 🇫🇷St. Pierre + Miquelon. The recent piece👇 details the many benefits of EU membership (and the long road to get there), and pros + cons of other options for closer integration - the 🇬🇧, 🇳🇴, and🇨🇭 models. Key point = start talks with EU now.
How Canada could get much closer to Europe
In the face of economic tensions with the United States, Canada must explore new alliances. Would applying to join the European Union be a viable solution?

they have blood on their hands and they’re proud of it

Articles like Nick's shouldn't be necessary. It should be fucking obvious to everyone that people who blamed 'lockdowns' for peoples' post-viral health issues were always self-serving and dishonest. 'Immunity debt' was never believable just in terms of basic common sense.
Wild to see my article become BMJ’s biggest piece of the year. I want to be clear about something going forward:

My work is about getting important ideas in front of people who need to see them, and who might be able to do something about them.

I’m supportive of anyone pushing for serious engagement with COVID’s immune consequences. But I’m not here to litigate who said what first (everyone knows), or to settle personal scores.

I also have MS. And this is why I wear a mask indoors in public.

Extremism isn’t fringe on the right. Once marginal online extremists like Yarvin are influential at the highest levels of government.
