My rent is due today, and I am about 100USD short

I was hoping some of the clients would clear out my payment 🥲

If you can comfortably commission me for something, from stories or buying high res versions of my photograph.

#MutualAid — I'd rather you get something from shop (than just donate!) ❣️

Okay, this is borderline cliche, but I would need to go with Walking and Falling.

While we celebrate the arrest of the privileged man child, the bigger question is: why did he get away with it in the first place, and how do we make sure this never happens again?

(The obvious answer is “burn it all down”)

Never in a million years did I ever fathom when I resurrected the Epstein story in 2018 that it would lead to first arrest of a British Royal in four centuries. Not since King Charles I was arrested in 1647.

I don't think it's more important for you to be able to grow some vegetables than it is for people to live affordably in your neighborhood.

That's just how I feel about this. It's a very NIMBY argument which puts your own desires in front of the needs of the community.

Looping back to "The Distance Between Us". A trope I have long hated in storytelling is the interesting and soulful white guy dating a pretty blonde who is nice to him and he's somehow gotten tricked into the relationship and then falls "really" in love with an interesting woman with dark hair.

I finished The Distance Between Us by Maggie O’Farrell

This is my second by her and I liked Hamnet rather more than did some of my friends. The Distance Between Us is a mixed bag.

The descriptions of Hong Kong drew me in immediately. She’s lived there, I thought. (She had.)

In a former career moment, I had to appear on a Hong Kong morning talk how to judge a game segment.
Ok so the obverse of yesterdays celebrity thread. When have you become accidentally famous? I’ve had my tweet published in the NYTimes and at International Passive House conferences
