The internet is not a space inherently crafted for children and teens. Adults have to maintain the infrastructure and pay for the access to it. I'm extremely resentful of all the companies popping up saying that *I'm* the one who needs to prove that I should have access to the space I pay for.

Seriously, @people.com has been meeting the moment better than 90% of publications with direct reporting and crystal clear headlines.

This is a good way for the low-information voters who are usually detached from the news cycle to get turned around.

You do not need genAI to communicate your ideas as a non-artist to an artist! A generated image doesn't actually share the key info that needs to passed on AND it discourages fruitful discussion

I’ve got $70 out of the $300 I need for her vet visit. I’m going to call today to pay for her worm medication so I can pick it up soon. Hopefully today. It would really help if I can get her seen and get the flea meds so the worms don’t happen again.

I feel so bad for her.
My dog is having an emergency. She needs to get worm and flea meds. In order to get the flea med she needs, Tsuki needs to be seen as it includes heartworm prevention. I’m feeling so bad every time she scratches.

These guys are great! I donate every year and may I suggest that some of the crafts they sell on behalf of the elders make great Christmas presents?
Time once again to rep my favorite place for giving: anelder.org - they supply food, firewood and supplies for traditional crafting to Navajo Elders. If you have the cash, please give these folks a hand.

I loved Death Becomes Her, but I listened to Maybe Happy Ending for like a month straight so definitely that one. But DBH is a close second

October Reading Stats

The Spear Cuts Through Water is one of the greatest books I’ve ever read. Emma was a fun read like always, the Lathe of Heaven is gorgeous sci-fi, & Never Whistle at Night is perfectly scary.
I also read some spooky short stories, & found I really enjoy Edgar Allen Poe
