Anyone using X or Grok is supporting a South African Nazi using his wealth to impose a corporate fascism on the US. Just stop all media, Congress, and anyone who cares about our democracy! Drive Musk out of business, and move the discussion here! Use Bluesky!

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

This would've tanked any other president, but Trump's worse than Teflon, he's so slimy he's frictionless.

"Democrats will also need to embrace the legislature’s constitutional authority to structure the executive branch and the judiciary, up to and including Supreme Court reform." -Jamelle Bouie, NYT. Dems running for Congress just do the job the Constitution spells out & don't worry about re-election.

My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

This is actually good spin, or would have been. But the fact that the Democratic cave happened without even a coordinated, agreed-upon message like this indicates the depth of the leadership void.

So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

Trump's "justice" dept. charged a guy for throwing a sandwich at an ICE agent wearing a bulletproof vest. Trump pardoned violent rioters who assaulted, beat, and badly injured Capital police on January 6. The sandwich guy won today. 🥪 That ICE agent will never not fear two slices of bread again.

Frankly, on any US issued passport, when it comes to gender, the ONLY choice should be: ✅ None of your f@#king business.
Honestly one of the worst, most disturbing paragraphs — on the basis of process, substance, and effect — I’ve read in a Supreme Court order or opinion in a very long time.

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

As a Democrat, I wholly agree with this statement by the late Republican President. But the fact is, the current Republican Congress cringe over this philosophy, having slid so far to the right that I bet neither Reagan nor Lincoln would be part of the Republican Party.

During the shutdown, Trump could find $40 billion to bail out Argentina & $300 million for a ballroom to host dinner parties with billionaires, but he won’t tap emergency funds to prevent millions of American kids from going hungry?

How cruel is that?

We who want to restore a government of the people have to take extraordinary measures NOW to protect democracy. Vote YES on Prop 50, Californians. I will be.
I’ve voted twice to make independent redistricting the law of the land nationwide, and I would gladly do so again.

But I also live in the real world.

I’m voting YES on Prop 50.

Here’s why:

Trump is furious because Canada went over his head and just made their case with Americans directly.

It’s what everyone should do.
Donald Trump just threw a late-night tantrum over an advertisement created by the Canadian province of Ontario, which featured Ronald Reagan’s REAL words expressing his dislike of tariffs. Trump says that, as a result, all trade negotiations with Canada are “HEREBY TERMINATED.”
If Joffrey Baratheon grew up to be an American president, this is pretty much what it would look like.

So what did Trump's disgusting video of him wearing a crown flying over a city dumping shit on citizens truly mean? That Trump and MAGA are FULL of shit.

40 million Americans may go hungry in November because their SNAP funding is at risk.

40 million people at a time when most are already struggling to put food on the table.

Trump just gave 40 billion to Argentina.

That could feed every American.

That could easily fund SNAP.

America first?

Hello blue states! If the Trump admin is withholding OUR tax dollars for projects Congress approved in OUR states then why not withhold our taxes from the feds? C'mon governors it's OUR money. Don't let them just steal it.
