My funniest thing about 2025 in a purely Australian context is that Barbaby Joyce was pushed out of the Nats by the force of public opinion (imagine that!), and joined Hanson's One Nation where failure goes to be fossilised.

I don’t think the majority of aussies have paid attention to what will happen when the ‘under 16’ social media ban comes into effect. Once they realise they too will have to provide either ID or allow their face to be analysed just to access their SM the push back will be fierce. #auspol
