So my friend who works in childcare can no longer wear her smart watch to work. One of @chrisminnsmp.bsky.social knee-jerk rules. She’s bitten, spat on, catches every illness known to paediatrics and paid f all. If you want safer centres increase wages/ratios. Meanwhile I’m encouraging her to quit

I don’t think the majority of aussies have paid attention to what will happen when the ‘under 16’ social media ban comes into effect. Once they realise they too will have to provide either ID or allow their face to be analysed just to access their SM the push back will be fierce. #auspol

With the sabotage of the #imo agreement USA has destroyed 10 years of work but also destroyed the confidence needed to change fuels/engines etc. Ships and refineries cost millions, take years to build and last for decades. USA has once again shown it’s a threat to the world’s very habitability #doom
