New introduction post seeing as we've had a lot more new followers.

Hi, I'm Steve and I'm a beer and brewing historian.
Which basically means I research and write about the societal history of beer from a holistic viewpoint. Every aspect of beer is entwined with every other aspect, and without...

At no point in this article does it mention that the "report" was widely criticised by actual medical experts.

Really shouldn't surprise anyone who it was that did the interviewing.

Just checking, it's now ok to flee your homeland, because you're afraid for your safety, and seek refuge in another Country?

Glad we've cleared that up. Let's hear no more about immigration and refugees then.

I'm looking to interview some non-American musicians or bands who've decided not to tour in the U.S. this year because of ICE. Please hit my DMs if you are willing to chat about this decision.

Multimillionaire Brexiter, Tim Martin, urges pubs to back Reform. Just like he urged the country to vote for Brexit. Too bad if it makes you poorer. Too bad for the children he’ll push back into poverty. Tim wants more money. And he couldn’t give a shit about the cost for everybody else.

It's been a very busy and intense day of festival planning today.
But we've worked out we can put the fest on, even with the disruption to the site.
Which is a big relief!

The beer fest planning meeting on Sunday was so good and the wave of enthusiasm was so infectious that I ended up celebrating a little bit.
Then yesterday morning it was down to earth with a bump as we've found out there a large part of the site we use will be taken up by construction works.

Over 70 folks turned up, we had to cram folks in, but what a wonderful meeting that was!
Went through the planned changes, got people's input, tweaks, and support.

Peterborough Beer Fest is going to be awesome this year! 🎈
On my way to the first open beer fest planning meeting of the year.
Kinda nervous to be honest 🤣
Alcohol may be consumed... 🤣

Advice sought from fellow veg growers: looking for a truly excellent standard-sized (i.e. closer to golf ball than tennis ball) red tomato variety to grow this year. Flavour more important than yield. Suggestions welcome!

While reporting this, I had something happen that's never happened. A comms rep for one of the co's disputed my reporting and said what I was telling them was untrue because it was not in Grok, xAI's chatbot.

I was looking directly at the files. And this person was using AI to challenge the truth.
