I'm going to actively say at this point that I don't think people should donate to any Dem-run PACs. What guarantee do we have that they won't give the money to cowards to stave off primary challengers?

I mean, it rather feels like the reverse will happen.

Why is the "we must be united!" hectoring directed at people who are mad at the Cavers and not to the Cavers? Everyone who's mad was united, then the Cave Caucus walked across the aisle and betrayed what the public had been told was the Dem position.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

God I want to see a million “Dems demanding new leadership” articles today, I want it to be a narrative Schumer can’t escape
Democrats are demanding new leadership after Schumer failed to stop a GOP-backed funding deal that doesn't guarantee continued health care subsidies. Progressives like Ro Khanna blasted him for giving in and warned premiums could soar as a result.
Democrats Call for New Leadership After Schumer Caves on “Terrible” GOP Deal
“If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing … what will you fight for?” said Ro Khanna.

Just called @kaine.senate.gov's Richmond office and got through. Very nice guy named Scott took my call and listened to what I had to say (that Kaine should resign and that his actions are a betrayal). It was easy and I thanked Scott for doing what I'm sure is not a very fun job today. Thx Scott.

I will not support the Republican bill that’s on the Senate floor because it fails to do anything of substance to fix America’s healthcare crisis.

I've said it before, and I will say it again.

We need courageous leaders that put working families at the center of all they do.

8 democrats caving to empty promises is an indefensible leadership failure

For the sake of our country, Schumer needs to resign.

Elect 50 Dems to the Senate, abolish the filibuster, & then immediately pass a bill that makes the Senate a purely advisory body. We do the will of the people in the House (which we should dramatically expand). We consult the Senate when we want an opinion from septuagenarian oligarchs.

The US Senate is a worthless institution that has, with a few very brief exceptions, been a reactionary force in the US for all its history, holding back progress, holding back the will of the voters, upholding a grossly oligarchic, patriarchal, racist hierarchy. Flush it down the toilet.

@kaine.senate.gov you were so excited to fold that you didn't even get a guarantee they'd pay back furloughed workers.
There’s no “discussion” to be had here. The Trump Administration must follow the law and pay all federal employees when the shutdown ends.

This approach of threatening to do things that are illegal has failed throughout the shutdown and, yet, they persist.

After millions of people took to the streets, and a resounding nationwide electoral sweep, Democrats clearly had no other option in the Senate but to utterly capitulate to the Republicans.
