This developer really made a niche game that they wanted. A hardcore dakar style sci-fi rally sim is a bonkers idea and it has that friction with having to struggle with something that feels like a coherent machine

Not only did trans people tell you that this is exactly what was going to happen by mainstreaming transphobic bathroom panics, the "Gender Critical" hate movement made it clear they knew it would happen and that gender non-conforming women would be "acceptable casualties" and you still helped them.

I wish we had gotten some warning from Steam and Itch... but we already know it's Collective Shout + payment processors waging culture war against LGBTQ people and sexual expression. I guess there's nothing else for Steam and Itch to say
I would focus on the people holding the gun rather than the head it’s pointed at for no other reason that they’ve come for storefront after storefront and they are not going to stop unless there is real collective pushback.
