Made the mistake of opening Facebook to look at the queer communities of a few cities that I’m looking to move to for grad school. I genuinely think that there’s a 25%-30% contingent of the US population that would have queer, trans, and gender diverse people executed on the spot.

one of the main reasons trans healthcare moved away from strict gatekeeping and toward informed consent & GAC is that trans ppl who were denied the means to transition would simply seek it out elsewhere
