People have been pointing this out, but I love the contrast on Denji and Yorus perception of Asa is shown.
Yoru thinks Asa has nothing to be guilty of, and her sins are nothing to a devil, while Denji sees her as a sinner peer.
Asa feels guilt existing, but one builds up, while the other drags down

People have been pointing this out, but I love the contrast on Denji and Yorus perception of Asa is shown.

It’s not a common criticism but I’ve seen ppl say that it’s “too late” for Asa’s story to be given the focus and payoff it deserves. I’d lowkenuinely agree if it wasn’t fujimoto; if he can switch up people’s perception of fumiko with literally less than a page, then he can stick the landing with Asa

i think what makes early pt II the most re-readable portion of the series is miss mitaka. ah, it’s so lovely.
