retroactively mad at the people who described this as a largely standard het shoujo with queerbait sprinkled in when the entire thing is framed as a reminiscence on a once unrecognized and now lost love. I was hit with a tactical yurinuke and you deny that I’m on fire. are you people stupid.

re: chainsaw man being used to illustrate the concept of the male loneliness epidemic… I do find it interesting that, when viewed uncritically and on face value, Denji’s story does somewhat slot into the narratives of the ideology behind the belief of it

I now completely understand why people still hold on to this story coming back from hiatus for almost 20 years now. Nana unlocked new and extremely powerful emotions in me and it’s devastating to know this story is unfinished.
