The Sun: Tr*mp slams corrupt BBC bosses

Real life: Tr*mp pardons multiple criminals who tried to overturn the 2020 election, including 77 involved in the 'fake electoral college' conspiracy.

Let's all talk about the terrible BBC 'mistake'.

It is likely that when America wakes up today some working for the Tr*mp administration who have violated the law, with what they believed to be impunity, will privately start to feel quite quite vulnerable and realise that trial and imprisonment Is a real possibility.

If you don't agree with me after that, you either didn't watch it or you are lying in order to play political games.

The Tories under May cynically made FoM seem like some kind of 'disease' inflicted upon the UK by the EU, a disease which needed to be "eradicated once and for all". Unless this term is detoxified, and FoM once more accepted as a good thing, there will be no SM or EU return.
The end of free movement of people with the European Union has been a “disaster” for the UK that should be urgently reversed, new Green Party leader Zack Polanski told POLITICO — in his first major intervention on EU policy.

Disappointed, but not altogether surprised, to see that one of the four 'grooming gang' victims who called for the resignation of Jess Phillips, has appeared at a press conference alongside Farage. Whole thing about them pulling out was a political stunt which has thrown other victims under the bus.

It is impossible to ignore the good that is happening because of this Labour government.

It's increasingly becoming absurd if you keep on maintaining the government is bad and is failing.
It’s taken 15 months and the good stuff is creeping out. Labours private school tax is delivering, inflation staying stable/high(ish)- not going up, Gilts are going down, Rayner is ‘back’, children are being prioritised and workers and renters being looked after

👏👏👏 Labour

Despite Starmer having to fight the lies thrown at him by our media and the opposition party. He’s still leading a team delivering for this country and playing a role on the global stage. He really is a very, very capable PM. We are so lucky to have him. I’m grateful every day.

China espionage points.

1. The CPS was created by the Tories in 1985 and is strictly independent from police and government interference.

2. Under the (Tory) law a conviction requires the jury to be sure that China is a 'threat to UK National security'

3. The Tories never designated China as such

A useful reminder that everything isn’t quite as doom and gloom as some politicians and parts of the media might have you believe.

So, around two thirds of the government’s Manifesto pledges have either already been achieved or are on the way to being achieved.

I'm sick of seeing " I voted Labour, never again "
You were smart enough to see the damage caused by the Tories over the past 14 years
And yet you think everything will be fixed in a year?
And what's the alternative, Green?
The harsh reality is that some need to grow up!

This is important to know and understand.

Jenrick is lying. Again.
This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.

This seems like exactly the sort of reason many people would be inclined to vote Labour. There are so many thing they are doing which get little attention. IPSOS polling Starmer as the 'worst ever' PM is completely absurd.
Will anyone who complained about these plans saying it wouldn't work, wasn't enough money, that schools couldn't & wouldn't be able to take part, now want to apologise?

I recall many a reply saying Labour were failing on this, calling me out for supporting it & being gleeful that it would fail.

Despite the naysayers & those complaining it wouldn't work, free breakfast clubs are up & running in 750 schools.

And they are about to be expanded, with 2000 more schools ready to offer them from April 2026, serving 500k more children and helping their families.

Thank you Labour!

Nothing particularly against Andy Burnham but he had two attempts to become leader and his time has gone. There are some really good people in the Party such as Darren Jones, but more importantly the next leader should be a woman, and there are several excellent choices.

The Labour government made a record breaking 21 decisions on major infrastructure projects in its first year in government.

It's more than made in any other 1st year of a parliament.

In total the last parliament from 2019 & 2024 saw 57 decisions in total.

The government aims for 150 by 2029.
