Between a "No Other Land" crew mate filming himself being killed by a settler, to a journalist being killed by airstrikes he was covering minutes earlier, I'm not sure how much more televised Israel's genocide can be

Oh my God. Anas had one of the biggest platforms among journalists in Gaza. He was just killed in a targeted strike on the Al Jazeera tent. Comes after Israel targeted and murdered hundreds of other journalists.

This is intentional and purposeful to erase news coming out of Gaza. No doubt.
🚨BREAKING: ISRAEL ASSASSINATES AL JAZEERA CORRESPONDENT ANAS AL-SHARIF

Israel also killed Al Jazeera correspondent Mohammed Quraqa and wounded Al-Kawthar correspondent Mohammed Subh in a strike on Al Jazeera’s tent at the Al-Shifa Medical Complex.

Anas Al-Sharif was one of the most remarkable reporters of his generation. For 673 days, he defied Israeli threats to kill him.

Al Jazeera now confirm their crew in Gaza City have all been assassinated:

Been off social media for Lent but now I'm back and get to engage with the most heart-sickening news stories on multiple platforms again. So, happy Easter, free Palestine, trans liberation now, and autistic people are people worthy of everything. RFK fuck off xxx

Love how every single liberal party strategy is “moving right wins elections” then when moving right repeatedly fails to win elections cause they’re running against OPENLY RIGHT-WING PARTIES they just go “Well clearly we didn’t move right enough.” Like even a child could tell you what’s wrong

I made so much borscht last night that I had to transfer it to a jam pan halfway through cooking to fit in all the ingredients.
Anyway, it was truly and surprisingly delicious. Sorry to all the borscht lovers for being a hater.

That's great and all but I don't think a few Jim Carrey films are really going to cut it when it comes to symptoms like being afraid of the dark and assuming every phonecall heralds the death of a loved one??

I feel like 2024 was a total write-off of a year for me. So nothingy. Worse than 2016, when my dad died. At least I got to sit in a lot of pub gardens that year.
Apologies to anyone who saw me last year, basically.

Yesterday, I reconnected with an old college acquaintance from Gaza. I asked how his family was doing. There was a brief pause. Then, in a quiet voice, he said, “I’m okay… but my wife and babies were killed. Our home was destroyed.”

I was stunned. I didn’t know what to say.

Not to be dramatic but having both Stormzy and Alison Steadman shilling for Mcdonald's in one advert is a bit of a blow.
