Amen! Six Triple Eight should be required watching in US schools. It’s a more than a great film: it’s a testament to what happens when we remove barriers to storytelling and focus on the people so often marginalized in our history books.
Just cried my way through the Six Triple Eight movie on Netflix. Tyler Perry, Kerry Washington, and the rest of the film’s crew really did right by those amazing ladies.
Highly recommend the movie for those who haven’t seen it. Best war movie I’ve seen in years.
