If @anthropic.com could fix one thing with the claude.ai interface it would be to stop throwing away half completed reponses on error. The responses were captured in the UX; surely also in SOME other server state? Couldn't we gather this and submit as a partial Assistant response to be completed?

Very interesting to see tools like n8n being used in spaces like bioinformatics. Meant to work between the gaps together with NextFlow and other pipeline tooling; not to replace it.

As academics, we need 2B vocal- EDI initiatives must remain firmly embedded in academia. @cdnwomenstem.bsky.social

New rule: no copy/pasting LLM output into documents or emails. If you use generated text, you have to type it out letter by letter yourself, even if you're just transcribing it without changing

I think if people do that, a lot of the cringe will go away--inevitably you'll change the tone & details

Wikipedia is seeing a significant decline in human traffic because more people are getting the information that’s on Wikipedia via generative AI chatbots that were trained on its articles and search engines that summarize them without actually clicking to the site

The markdown-to-PDF tool that Manus likes to default to does not parse - formatted lists very well. Asking it to use WeasyPrint yields much better results.

Your code may be brilliant.
But if users can’t figure out what to run, on what data, and what they’ll get…
It might as well not exist.

1/ I’ve reviewed hundreds of bioinformatics GitHub repos in my career.
Here’s the brutal truth: most tool documentation fails the people it’s meant to help.
And it’s not because the algorithms are bad.
