When someone seeks to bring me down (had a bit of a rough time on twitter today) I have a strong urge to channel the grimness & angst into something positive. So, here’s a photo I took of some things I grew-really hope it makes your brain feel good🌿

Surprise, surprise, what’s happening in America under #Trump and in #Ontario under the self-serving Premier, Rob Ford is similar. @Fordnation is also dismantling environmental protections to enrich himself and his supporters while putting important habitat, and precious biodiversity at risk.

The UCP is controlled by people who find the idea of a poor person getting the same level of healthcare as a wealthy person obscene. The idea that everyone is equal bothers them, on a basic level. And they govern accordingly.

I’d like to save the Ford Government of Ontario $9 million dollars of the public’s money.
No, a 60km tunnel under highway 401 isn’t feasible.

I cannot stress this strongly enough: Support your local theatre, café, bookstore, bakery, and library. We breathe life into these places when we support them. They need us, and more importantly, we need them.
