It's curious to me how okay people are with all of the heinous actions of romantasy mmcs, but the moment it's a fmc instead doing them it's suddenly unacceptable. Yall don't care about the violence of men or misogyny. You just hate it when women respond in kind.

All the same, there is no amount of love that could have made a difference, no matter how badly we wanted it to. I understand that now, too. At the end of it all, I am what remains, the charred husk on your funeral pyre. Oh, if only this was a different sort of story.

The soldiers moved me to a place I didn’t know because my eyes were blindfolded, and they ordered me to take off my clothes. I did so. People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
