In a way, I find the authoritarian takeover of our media system even more disturbing than the authoritarian takeover of our political system.
Our political system has been failing basically my entire adult life. But, the media system provided accountability and sort of worked. Now it’s collapsing.

Voted yesterday for Minneapolis mayor, park board, & city council. Notable: Dem candidates identified themselves. No republicans did. They used labels like ‘Budgetary Economic Stability’ Perhaps they know that if they identify as R they are less likely to get the vote, but by hiding it they might?

FYI :“Destruction of federal property is a federal crime. 18 U.S. Code § 1361 defines the crime as willfully injuring or committing any depredation against U.S. government property. If the damage exceeds $1k it is a felony with a fine, up to ten years in prison or both.”

Walgreens today. Looked so different. Products locked up. Empty. Only needed a few things, but would usually get a basketful of stuff. Ringing a bell & waiting for someone to come & unlock a door every time I need something is madness. I walked out without buying anything & won't be back.

Targeting more than half the population of the US for a political reason is treason. No elected official or a member of his staff has the right to punish the American people for who they vote for. Withholding money for states that voted for Harris is tyranny and must be stopped now.

From now on I will be calling billing office of every healthcare professional I see to get cost BEFORE I book appt. Have tried in past & they obfuscate & will not tell me. Just exhausting & I give up. Why is it this way? Where else does a seller not have to disclose cost before service is rendered?
