Hmmm. To knit in the round so we don’t have to knit flat? Also, steeking for the first time is scary. So yes, I’m excited and wanted to tell my knitting friends, who are typically quite supportive.

I’ve started making stretch meals again. Meals that last a few days or extra can be frozen. My mom and grandma taught me depression era skills and I’m already using them.

Last week had to go to a tech conference rather last minute. Primary hotel was booked but the ‘sister’ hotel was available. I lucked out because primary hotel was insane chaos central. And the sister was a lovely quiet hotel. Every night I escaped from the madness back to peace. Introvert hotels?

I just called mine.

I’ve worked in companies run by men. It taught me a lot. Including that I didn’t want to work in environments like that all my life. So I started my own company. I read that article this morning and could not believe that slop came from the once respected NYTimes. Gross. @nytimes.com

I try to imagine what would happen to my business if I I responded to questions in this way. It might take a few days, a week at the outside, and they’d be pulling me aside to see if I was okay, and would probably plan to remove me. Which is what they should do to him.

I voted early in Minneapolis. No issues. Also, no visible sign of republicans on the ballot. They are hiding their affiliation.
