At least 30 people have died in ICE custody in less than a year under the current administration. With the massive increase in detainments, conditions inside ICE detention facilities will only get worse, leading to even more deaths.

I believe prisoners have rights. A right to have basic human needs met, like food, sleep, shelter, health —including mental health.
War prisoners, criminals, ordinary people that were just looking for a way to feed and house themselves and their families, refugees locked up waiting for decisions.

Not reassuring, but critical to know about. As much as we all are looking forward to that day, this doesn’t end when Trump is gone. This is an infestation of our government AND our court system AND the powerful corporations that control the U.S. It will require mass resistance & deep understanding.
