1) Interesting interview of Prof. Brian Hughes by David Tuller.

In his new book Hughes argues that psychology is not woke but that its methods are essentially conservative because it focuses on an individualistic view and ignores social context.

- The public should also protect against all RVIs by maintaining good personal hygiene, such as practicing hand hygiene, staying home if feeling unwell, and wearing a mask if needing to leave home when symptomatic.
RSV can cause severe illness and long-term complications comparable to influenza and COVID-19, especially in young children, older adults, and those with underlying health conditions. doi.org/g99d6r
Not just a common cold: Studies show RSV's severity and impact on long-term health
Often confused for a common cold, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) can in fact be serious and should be studied more closely.

Some common viruses may steeply raise risk of cardiovascular disease

The authors noted that viral infections trigger the immune system to release substances that lead to inflammation and increase the risk of blood clots.

There is a huge difference between "chronic fatigue" and the illness widely known as "myalgic encephalomyelitis," or "ME." In the US the compromise term is "ME/CFS," but many prefer to just eliminate the "chronic fatigue" part altogether, to minimize confusion. #MECFS
