ICE stalked an elderly woman who works in homecare for her grandchildren on her way to pay her rent. They stopped her, broke her car window, and roughed her up enough to cause a concussion, bruised ribs, and a torn rotator cuff. Then found her passport in her purse and fled. gofund.me/b7afaa65e

Amount of time devoted to the Epstein Files tonight on the Big 3 network newscasts:

ABC: 4 minutes
NBC: 2 minutes
CBS: 30 seconds

CBS was the only network that didn’t have a full report on Epstein tonight; instead, its DC reporter mentioned it at the end of her gov’t shutdown story.
Bowles and Weiss, per reports, began dating in 2018.
If I have the right Nellie Bowles, the partner in question is Bari Weiss

Better team won. That jumbled top tier of the big ten isn't looking quite so jumbled.

Good god Jeremy. That was.... borderline uncalled for. Didn't have to do him that dirty.

A Minnesota woman observing ICE agents in her car was cornered on one-way streets. An agent approached, called her by name—citing facial recognition. Days later, her Global Entry and TSA privileges were revoked, with no explanation.

I dunno but if I was a Democratic member of Congress, I would not vote to fund the government while the president is writing himself checks from the treasury for $10 billion and also is apparently in sole control of an offshore bank account of stolen Venezuelan oil money.

Here's what ICE is up to in Northeast Minneapolis today. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Warning: video is hard to watch

It shouldn't take civilians being gunned down in the streets to wake people up to ICE's human and civil rights violations. Now that people are paying attention, we can't look away. Abolish ICE & close these detention camps. Impeach and remove Noem, Homan, Vance, and Trump.

Santos Reyes Banegas, a 42-year-old Honduran construction worker, died within 18 hours of being taken into ICE detention on Long Island. Banegas is one of at least 32 people who died in ICE custody in 2025, the agency’s deadliest year in two decades. #AbuseOfPowerWatch

Schwalm is right about one thing: What's unfolding in Minnesota is resistance, not protest.

It's peaceful resistance, but it's resistance. And it's growing.
MAGA military geniuses are talking about Minnesota protestors like they are the Iraqi insurgency, the Taliban, and the Viet Cong all rolled into one.

these right wing clowns continuing to express absolute shock over the organizing of the left also reflects a deeply sexist ignorance of the fact that EXPERIENCED, INCREDIBLY EFFICIENT AND HARDWORKING VOLUNTEERS, PRIMARILY WOMEN, RUN THE FUCKING SHOW WITH ALMOST EVERYTHING GOOD IN THIS COUNTRY
I mostly just stay off Twitter altogether but after double checking that the Walter Hudson post was still up I ran across this and just had to share so the Romancelandians who bought hand warmers could hear about the PROFESSIONAL GRADE LOGISTICS.
