The PC is an Olivetti M20, a Z80 based compy with its own OS and a fine line in vector green felines. Dual floppies - nice!

Having convos in my normie office (complimentary) and people were like "he could've been way more political but he didn't."

Normies can miss this shit. You are a professional and have no excuse.
Analysis: Weeks before he set foot on the stage, Bad Bunnyโ€™s halftime performance had already become a media event.

But if you were looking for political commentary, the closest that you got was when he said โ€œGod bless Americaโ€ in English.
Analysis | Bad Bunnyโ€™s Super Bowl halftime show was expected to provoke. Did it?
The Bad Bunny Super Bowl show nodded to injustices in Puerto Rico but mostly evoked wholesome family values that meshed with the more sentimental commercials.

Okay, the New York Times has a very dumb op-ed about the USโ€™s โ€œmarijuana problemโ€. You are completely valid in just dismissing it as fear shit, but I will make a Lilโ€™ Thread of some of the dumb stuff in particular, for the Sickos and Curious. Keep your cool, remember: itโ€™s bad on purpose. Andiamo:

Best part about this is Discord saying, "A majority of people on Discord are not necessarily looking at explicit or graphic content" so their experience won't change.

Please make sure you check with your local immigrant watchdog org before using whistles in your area. Using them can get in the way of their work getting info on the person being detained, and they might not recommend it
"I print whistles because reality still matters; whistles get neighbors to come running, make sure enough people are recording, so when the regime pretends thereโ€™s only one camera angle of Renee Goodโ€™s death, we know the truth."

That's why I can't just let media die.

My plan is to start responding to these today, but I'm definitely still looking for more folks who might have a story to share. If you're a dev, media person, or content creator and Pokemon has ever had an impact on your life or work, I'd love to hear from you.
Are you in dev, media, or content creation and have a story to tell about why Pokemon is special to you, has influenced your work, or overall just made an impact on your life? Would you want to tell me about it for a 30th anniversary Kotaku story? Get in touch: kshepard@kotaku.com. RTs appreciated!

Breaking:

The White House press secretary just said she "can't guarantee" that ICE won't be around polling locations in November.
