That's it! 2025 is over. 🥳

While it was a rough one for our community (to say the least), it was a busy one for the QT Library, and we can't help but have a little hope for our future and that of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Relive the highlights with us, and a toast to so much more in 2026!

Unrelated to the crunch, if this is such an important quote from the game that they h ad to put it on a commemorative coin, I don't think I'm going to like this game very much
"...the team was given metal coins to commemorate the game’s ongoing development, which included text of a quote from the game, 'The suffering of generations must be endured to achieve our divine end.'"

Tales from the Borderlands and Wolfenstein, and I stand by those choices.
Quote this with what you would have said your game of the year was at the end of 2014, if you had one, and what you would say your favourite game of 2014 is now, if it differs

Localisations and early access count, remasters don't. Remakes depend

I've been ruminating on this idea that art is now "work" and work means money, which explains why so many execs decided that in order to finish "work" you needed to use AI instead of just creating something. The result is the product, so what does it matter if the process is cut?

They're just trying to stop this epidemic of boys becoming men and men becoming wolves

What some of the replies have told me is that I should program it to actually order me ice cream so stay tuned I guess
Built a new keyboard for work so I don't have to use the super old and actually crusty Lenovo one they gave me. For something I got for $50 off AliExpress, it's a huge improvement.

I think this is a good move for the Oscars. Unfortunately, it won't make the Oscars suck less.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Oscars will move to YouTube in 2029, departing the film awards' longtime home of ABC.

I got an honorable mention in a story contest when I was 9 for a shit story about the first female president (oy).

After that I became very lonely and isolated, so it was one of the only things I had.
With all this awful news going on i wanna ask this question once again to fellow artists and general creatives. What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.

Post-truth, full grift era. Cynicism reigns.

(Rhetorically speaking) it doesn't matter whether your product performs, it matters whether the *next person* will notice if it doesn't. It doesn't matter if you're being lied to, as long as the lie seems to serve your purposes too.
Talk to me: Why do people use GenAI but not trust it? Why are we paranoid about its usage but still give it space? I have theories.

HOW INTERESTING HMMMM
Again I say: how fucking interesting that remote work technology is bad and not worth adopting despite all research pointing to productivity gains, but genAI which offers NOTHING is so important to adopt and force on people who have no use for it despite all the horrible things genAI does
