I really wish people would stop using slop to just mean 'thing I don't like' or 'stuff that is part of a trend'.

Wrapped up Detective Instinct tonight, and I'll save the full review for a mystery roundup, I really enjoyed it for what it was. I definitely wish it was longer though, it feels like this could have easily been another day or two on the train with fairly minimal changes for better pacing.
