Parenthesis is the Greek God of Digression (not to be confused with his rival, Ellipsis, who just can't finish a sentence to save his life)

Speaking of Canadian Tire, it's funny how when you go to not your usual one you think "Well, this store is just backwards. This section should be on the left side and the cashier tills should be that way."

Suffice it to say, I was wandering the store.

Found what I needed though.

I'm making toques and mittens with my stash yarn with the intent to donate to youth shelters.

And I'm making the really long cord to join the mittens (like how kids' mittens were [are] joined to put them through sleeves of coats).

Why don't adult mittens still have these string cords? 🤔

My sister lost the [plastic] crochet poppy she had so she asked me to crochet one for her.

I made 2 (one for me).

I just played the fun game of "what's causing that smell in my fridge?"

Door number 1: bag of leftover spinach that went bad

Door number 2: bag of asparagus that turned soupy

I love the smell of someone in the neighbourhood making BBQ while looking around and seeing everything covered by snow.

NYC is a city of millions.
And they got their civic election results the same day as the election.

Meanwhile, last month cities in Alberta had to wait because a certain provincial gov't decided that prompt results were not important.

I’m so tired of daily fucking bullshit. If people could stop voting in the fucking worst politicians that would be great. The corruption and grift will cost us for so many years never mind the destruction to institutions we may never recover from.
Well this stinks to high heaven.
