So I've been seeing some "didn't people know 'here's Johnny' was already a pop culture reference before The Shining?"
And as a non US citizen - confirmed, I had no idea.

This feature illustrates how CGI is an artform that immense effort and talent goes into. And it's just as much an artform today, on films like Top Gun: Maverick, Frankenstein and Alien: Romulus, they just don't make VFX featurettes anymore.

The people who say "having VFX artists add sets and extras in post instead of filming them for real is lazy and bad filmmaking" as a negative about CGI will say "matte painting is a lost art that needs to be brought back".
Well which is it? Matte paintings never left, the tools just slowly evolved.

Gotta ask -- now that absolutely no efficiency savings or cheques have come out of D*ge, it's fairly obvious the government just used what they believed was a smart & charismatic guy to illegally steal people's data for IC*, yes? Wild conspiracy theory? Public secret? Public knowledge?

Moviegoers should stop worrying about "unnecessary scenes" in film. The flying cars, billboards and gasoline smoke stacks are all unnecessary to "the plot" of Blade Runner, but what would Blade Runner be without them? Let movies vibe.

The glorification of this needs to be stopped.
First - it's all bullshit. Any bit of acting by an actor these days is called "DID YOU KNOW this was improvised"
Second, this would be really fucking toxic
Third, actors CAN FUCKING ACT. They don't need to be "tricked" by someone else going off script
