If the visuals are THAT important to getting your project funded, then you need to pay a person up front for those key visuals and deliver a consistent end product to your backers.

Keezy Young is an incredible artist and author, and their work does a lot to help destigmatize mental illness; especially something like psychosis which is often depicted incredibly negatively. Their book, Hello Sunshine, does this so well and has been one of my favorite reads this year! 🌼

I chose Micah because I wanted a soft, nature-adjacent name. (Also, golden muscovite mica looks a little bit like this honeycomb candy I used to get)

Galen is named after the Greek physician (physician, healer, makes sense!)
Sasha is named that because it means protector.

The only thing that Galen from The Need for Dandelions is really bad about procrastinating is self-care. He'll put off that for as long as he can get away with it.

Sasha, similarly, procrastinates on hard conversations. He knows they need to happen, but he puts them off.
