Today RFK and co. removed the COVID vaccine from the CDC's recommended immunization schedule for children and pregnant people.

This is junk science. COVID puts children and pregnant people at higher risk for ER visits and hospitalizations, and Long COVID can cause chronic health issues for anyone.

My comment on www.regulations.gov/commenton/FD...

I would not qualify for a COVID-19 booster under the proposed regulations, nor would my fiancé, who is my caregiver. I used to work 50+ hours a week, volunteer after hours, and run ultramarathons. Then I got COVID, and suddenly,

URGENT: FDA plans to limit COVID vaccine access to those 65+ and those with qualifying health conditions.

It will be almost impossible for kids to get vaccinated against new variants.

This beautiful picture is from Toronto. This week. Not 2022, not 2021. 2025.

Covid is still ongoing. It never ended. If your event doesn't have a mask requirement it isn't accessible or inclusive & puts others at risk.

Message starbucks that you are boycotting them until they repeal the employee mask ban.

This is a great opportunity to be an ally to those who rely on masks to stay healthy and protect others.

San Francisco is cutting $4.2M in funding to 7 nonprofits providing free civil legal aid, including against "informal evictions."

Landlords often evict tenants under the table, by cutting utilities or changing locks.

Now, those tenants are on their own.

new from me: on how disability complicates the reality of homelessness, and why a city might be OK with confiscating or discarding unhoused people's wheelchairs www.sfchronicle.com/opinion/sole...
With so many physically disabled people living on S.F. streets, what happens to wheelchairs during sweeps?
Take a trip to downtown SF and it’s impossible not to notice the sheer number of seemingly homeless people navigating the streets via wheelchair or walker.

Now, a couple weeks later, they're being evicted anyways.
