Hi, we are NOTHING MATTERS, a game development company out of Berlin and we make games for humans, by humans, about humans. Usually about killing them.

This week we will unveil our first game, "Insecta Vindicta" (Latin: "Insect Revenge") at Games Ground and we hope you'll check out our trailer. x

When you recognize the language someone is speaking and you casually drop a "thank you" or "excuse me" in said language and they respond in that language and you never have to reveal that you've now exhausted the entirety of your vocabulary in that language.

Hey #gamedev #audio folks: any recommendations on finding non AI, royalty free music for game trailers, made by actual humans?

We are digging and there are clearly a lot of people lying about where their music comes from.

Late stage capitalism sucks.

Hit a key and accidentally got this.

Funny, because I very clearly remember uninstalling Copilot.

It is a tough market out there for animators and game developers but some of the side hustles I'm seeing popping up are pretty gross, if not downright exploitative.

Whoever you are and whatever your situation, it will almost certainly break someone's heart when you are gone.
Little hand drawn animation and banjo theme I made. It's been a year since my brother's passing, it's hard to type stuff so l'll just let the video speak for itself. Thank you for watching. Keep going, enjoy the sandwiches.

Every time I see a new game with grappling hooks in it, I am glad I worked on five, PS2 era #Spider-Man games.

Selfishly, I am also glad that I'm not working on any games with grappling hooks in them because frankly, most of them aren't going to do it as well as we did 20 years ago.

It's such a weird feeling when you finish a big, challenging milestone like a trailer or a demo release.

In my head it's like a Kung Fu movie, where you're still madly punching and kicking even though all of your enemies are sprawled out on the floor but you haven't realized it yet.

We've just finished the announce trailer for our very small team's indie game.

"Hello World-If you think the world is ridiculous now, wait til you see the ending."

Rimworld + Stardew Valley + Fallout.
The apocalypse we deserve.

The Games Industry's obsession with going all in on "shit that's never proven to work is going to save us all" continues with "AI everything!"

Hey #gamedev audio friends! Anyone want to help out on an announce trailer? Broke indies and tight deadline so basically a dream job. LMK if interested.

(Will be trying Upwork as well)

Today I had to google "how to resize windows in Da Vinci Resolve." I still cannot resize a window so I can see the clip I'm trying to trim.

Video editing has become so intuitive that kids do it on their phones yet every professional alternative to Premiere and Final Cut seems to be a fucking joke.

This is a great way to start a new program for the first time.

Rather than "flop around til you learn our bullshit" it's "what language do you already speak, that will help you get started?"

Thanks #DaVinciResolve for good #UX

Cars are very honky in Berlin.

I was just outside and a car double honked. Then a dog on the sideway just barked the exact same way, like it was making fun of the car.

Annoying driver. Cool dog.
