Every law in America is called something like "Forcibly Rigging Every Election and Harassing Underage Girls (Sexually)" and the media are like, "sure, yes, the FREE HUGS Act, no reason to call it anything else"
Trump: "Think of it. So you have a thing called 'Save America Act. Save America Act.' And Schumer is gonna say, 'I oppose it.' How do you oppose save America? This is simply on voting. Voter ID. We want a statement that you are a citizen of America. And no mail in ballots."

These companies really do think the word "agentic" sounds cool, and does not at all sound like it should mean "evocative of the smell of bleach in a dentist's waiting room while you wait to be called in for a root canal"

"The cleaners did a great job, but the agentic smell hasn't cleared yet"

production of The Muppet Show should not be dependent on petty vulgarities like “ratings” or “revenue.” it should be preserved as a vital function of american culture. it should have a taxpayer-funded budget rivaling the CIA

I think there are four basic grids that crosswords tend to be based on. I don't know if they have names, but this is what I call them:

I see we've reached the 'open the GPS security case, apply a "reduced to clear" sticker, then seal it back up again in case anyone nicks it' stage of the UK economy

if it ain't broke, discontinue it
Called and spoke with Adobe customer support and the guy told me Adobe is discontinuing Animate because apparently the company can't think of any new features to add to the program and they feel it's gotten stale.

So they're just GETTING RID OF IT???

The team at Devil You Know thank you for sticking with us despite a number of competing options.

We're proud to announce our new version, Devil You Don't, will completely replace the old version starting in Summer 2026. There will be a bit of a learning curve, but we're excited for this new phase

Apparently last time I used this OS for tech nonsense it was an image processing application because I just launched Sublime Text and it session-restored straight to Morten Hannemose' "ethically-sourced Lena image" staring out the screen at me

They say AI isn't good for anything, but it's been a boon for cryptic crossword setters, who now have a host of new ways to wordplay a fairly common pair of letters

People forget this is what the film actually looked like when it first came out. It wasn't until decades later that CGI was invented and George Lucas was able to put out the remastered version with the plane in it
