All of this. This is the minimum.
Tighten rules on warrants? Body cameras? HOW ABOUT A SIGNED JUDICIAL WARRANT FOR EVERYTHING! HOW ABOUT THEY LEAVE MINNESOTA AND NEVER CARRY OUT ANYTHING AKIN TO MINNESOTA IN ANY OTHER STATE. I DON'T WANT BODY CAMERA FOOTAGE OF THE ATROCITIES I WANT THEM TO STOP. I AM SO FUCKING FURIOUS!!!!

Assistant US Attorney Freidrich Seeker says "it seems like they're using this lawsuit to litigate some sort of outside political dispute." Judge asks what dispute is. Seeker says if state didn't have sanctuary policies that the state would be involved in the investigation. (12)

So why is Texas on the amicus brief in the 8th Cir. taking the position "staying the injunction in Tincher v. Noem is fine actually?" www.courtlistener.com/docket/72160...

While folks are opining on this morning's hearing in MN v. Noem, let's not forget the hearing this afternoon in BCA v. Noem, featuring this paragraph from the reply in opposition that I'm sure everyone is going to believe. www.courtlistener.com/docket/72185...

What's happening is wrong, and (one would expect) unlawful, regardless of the motivation. Crafting a "good enough" excuse shouldn't be a way out. I hope there is a reply from the state on this, because if the rationale stems from motivation, I suspect MN loses on appeal.
Q: Do you think it's true that the motivation matters?

Mayers effectively answers that it doesn't.

In Minnesota, scores of ordinary people are bravely looking out for their neighbors, defending their communities, and protesting lawless violence.

They are the best of America.

Here's how to stand with them. www.standwithminnesota.com

Can a state file lawsuits fast enough to keep up with a Gish Gallup of illegality?
Menendez note that the conduct here is the subject of other litigation:

"Isn't the answer to the flood of illegality to fight each illegal act?"

Cool, they can all leave immediately then
Vance: "We have so many people here that we do not want to have here. I do not want so many ICE officers in Mpls. I mean, good lord, it's really really frickin' cold outside. But they're here not even to enforce immigration laws but to protect people from rioters. That's an absurd state of affairs"

@klobuchar.senate.gov This is the bare minimum.
A Minnesota high school student was nabbed by ICE agents as she was trying to pick up food for her family after work. She was violently dragged from her car and lost her shoes. So, barefoot in the middle of winter, she was put into the back of an unmarked car in a small town (Willmar).

@governorwalz.mn.gov Please help your state.
(Content warning: ICE violence)

At around 1:40 this afternoon, I witnessed federal agents with ICE and CBP arresting a US citizen after hitting her car from behind, and then kneeling on the head of a legal observer in the snow, preventing breathing and bloodying their face.

I'm sure she gave @annabower.bsky.social advance notice on Signal and offered to put in a good word with the judges filling the vacancy.

There's another issue here, Governor. We're not a figurative island. Other cities and states have been subjected to the same horrors, and if no one stops it, more will be. Can we stand with our fellow Americans outside the state, and them with us? Isn't the attack on MN an attack on all of America?
State investigators have been on the scene in North Minneapolis.

I know you’re angry. I’m angry. What Donald Trump wants is violence in the streets.

But Minnesota will remain an island of decency, of justice, of community, and of peace.

Don’t give him what he wants.

As I was saying...
Blanche already called this an insurrection despite the facts. We're headed for Insurrection Act territory even if all Minnesotans just lock themselves in choir rehearsal for the next week. bsky.app/profile/publ...
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche calls what is happening in Minneapolis an “insurrection” and threatens to go after Governor Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey over their “terrorism.”
January 15, 2026 at 2:25 PM
Here's the problem, Governor. You've tried to say not to provide an "excuse," but we know those are easily contrived. A visible DOJ official already said this is an insurrection, irrespective of facts. bsky.app/profile/publ... /1
