I make $20 every six monthsish on the combined streams of all four of my albums on all streaming sites. At Bandcamp I make about $10 every time I sell an album, physical or download. Use Spotify if you want, but if you like living artists making a living, buy something from them where they get paid.
Who would have foreseen that by effectively stealing music from artists by stopping paying out on songs that have less than 1000 streams in the past 12 months would result in a first ever annual profit for Spotify?

My mom is in the hospital. She’s been in the ER since Tuesday because there are no available beds. There are lines of patients on stretchers overflowing the ER hallways. The nurses & doctors have been wonderful, despite being completely overwhelmed. Our healthcare system is in real danger.
