I don’t really know how any of these things work but I hope Paul Mescal didn’t get a nomination because the studio was engaging in category fraud. That was a leading part if I ever saw one.

This is a great trade because no one will know who won for quite some time. Peralta might be a one year and gone. That might be good or bad. Sprout and Williams may or may not be credible major leaguers and that might not be apparent for some time. Wonderful.

I know the Mets were in on him but seeing this deal I feel like Homer in that episode where he’s trying to get hurt to not have to go to work and a guy gets hit with a wheelbarrow full of cement. Maybe it’s better this didn’t hit my favorite team.

Where’s that article with the woman who let her kid walk down the opposite side of the street as her and a neighbor called the cops? It’s great that people are spending more time with their kids but we’ve also sort of stigmatized/criminalized letting children build real independence and that’s bad.
Older generations spent a lot less time parenting. Millennial dads spend nearly as much time parenting as Boomer moms did. Millennial and Gen X moms way more.

I feel like I missed an episode of the collapse of America because I don’t even understand what’s in Greenland that we’re supposed to even want. I’m pretty sure there isn’t some vast amount of oil up there and that’s always been the answer before.

I just had one of those things I didn’t want to do for weeks on end and then doing it took considerably less than ten minutes and I’m pretty sure this won’t be the time I learn this lesson. Maybe one day.
